This Big size singing bowl, with a weight of 12lbs, ranges between our large size and giant size category. This special etched and engraved bowl is a subtle work of art, displaying touch of a highly skilled artisan. The quality of the etching and the engraving is incredible in this bowl.
The sound of this bowl is worthy of the etching and engraving it bears. It is stunning low and powerful sound with a slow binaural beat on the fundamental and a quicker one on the overtone plus it has a very long sustain. AND it is a carefully measured Heaven of Sound certified healing Tibetan bowl, too!
Seated serenely in the center, is a Buddha figure with the 7 chakras, surrounded by the "OM Mane Padme Hum" mantra. The upper inside rim is decorated with the 7 individual Chakra symbols for the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, forehead and crown chakra. The carving is matched by the etching. The outside and bottom of the bowl is even more richly etch decorated than the inside. There is great subtlety, the bowl must be examined closely to see it all, but every detail delights the eye.NOTICE: During the genuine manual manufacturing process by hand hammering this amazing Tibetan bowl into shape, an about 1/2" long micro crack near the bowl's bottom had formed and then was sealed in the finishing process (see zoom in of 3rd picture). This sealed up blemish does not have any effect on the sound quality of the bowl, but is purely of aesthetic nature. Therefore we offer this bowl at a SPECIAL DISCOUNTED PRICE as is!
