  • We are proud to introduce the Gongs of India. The skilled metalworkers of India have been crafting healing instruments since the days of antiquity. Now they have turned their expertise to the art of gong making. Hand hammered, then marvelously etched by Nepalese craftsmen in a graceful combination of old and new motifs, these gongs will make an exciting addition to your home or business.

The wind gongs, with their slightly rounded edges and arched surface with no center boss are orchestral type gongs. The pitch, or frequency, they produce will vary with how you play them. You can vary the location, force and rhythm of your strikes to produce an incredible range of sounds - from a gentle shimmer to roaring thunder. These gently arched ring gongs are not grouped with Planetary gongs as they produce a variable pitch.
