  • sound decks from Sitka Spruce pine grade AA, frame from Cherry, bridges and saddles from either Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry) or Bloodwood

*): The complete replacement set should have been $65.00 for Monochord and Tanpura Plus $120 for the 15 string Koto = $185.00. I made a mistake in the quote in copying the wrong text on the Koto string set. But as the mistake was mine I would like to make you a special big replacement set price of USD 150.00 instead of $185, thus $35 are on me as an apology for the mistake.

The shipping + crating costs to your place in Canada will be invoiced when instrument is finished. The estimated shipping and crating cost to Bouctouche, NB, Canada are around USD 450. Customs, Duty import taxes and fees will be your (customers) responsibility and are not incl. in the shipping/crating charges.

As discussed we can hold and store your instrument after it is finished with us until April/May 2019 when the weather is less cold and critical for shipping.

Start of construction: January 2019, building time: 5-6 weeks

Payment terms:

  • 60% down payment of USD $1,752.00 now to place your order, to cover pre-ordered materials, pre-designs and preparation work for the instrument. This down payment locks-in your spot in January 2019 (at this moment) on the waiting list and is nonrefundable.
  • The balance (USD 1,168.00) will be due and payable when the KoTaMo is completed (around Feb/Mar 2019)
  • The actual crating and shipping fees (estimated to be around USD 450) will be due before the KoTaMo is shipped out. If you like us to hold and store your instrument for max. 8 weeks (until Apr/May 2019) for a safer transport with warmer spring weather, we would offer you this service Free of charge.
