  • We are proud to introduce the Gongs of India. The skilled metalworkers of India have been crafting healing instruments since the days of antiquity. Now they have turned their expertise to the art of gong making. Hand hammered, then marvelously etched by Nepalese craftsmen with a graceful combination of old and new motifs, these gongs will make an exciting addition to your home or business. This marvelous small gong is etched with the double or crossed dorje on the center boss and the OM Mani Padme Hum mantra at the rim.

We call these cymbal gongs as they are shaped much like Tibetan cymbals with an arched surface and a pronounced center boss. The center boss gives these gongs great stability of frequency, that is they will produce the same tone when you hit them on the center boss no matter how often you strike them, or how hard (within reason; all gongs will make unpleasant sounds if struck to hard or with an improper mallet). This makes these gongs ideal for sound healing work as we precisely analyse and identify the healing frequencies and the effects they are likely to have.

    Diameter: 15-3/4 inch (40 cm), Height: 1-1/2 inch (4 cm); Weight: 2030 g (4.5 lbs); #G084

*Measurements approximate, these are hand made instruments and may be irregular in shape

  • This beautiful gong resonates on one fundamental healing frequency:

    1. Uranus - Innovation, renewal, relaxation, seizures
    • Uranus helps you find that spark of intuition you are seeking. It supports renewal and relaxation and is therefore helpful with seizures. Although primarily used from the feet to the root chakra, the vibration can be applied around the head.
